The Gladiators Cycling club (GCC) have announced an annual cycling race to celebrate the birthday of Osagyefo Dr. Kwame Nkrumah. Dubbed the OSAGYEFO CRITERIUM ACCRA, the annual event will be held every year on 21st September which is a public holiday by law.
The Gladiators Cycling Club aims to use the annual race to promote and encourage cycling in Ghana. The maiden event which is a 115km race will take place on Tuesday September 21, 2021 in Accra. The schedule route for the race will be the well-known 3.3km circuit around the Accra Sports Stadium.
The OSAGYEFO CRITERIUM ACCRA will bring together professional cyclists and cycling enthusiasts across Ghana to have fun and compete for attractive prize awards.
